My text for a twenty-minute performance of the Grendel section of Beowulf. I drew from Benjamin Slade's open-source translation. The few deviations from the original text were made for the sakes of comprehension and length. 

This is my remix of the Old English Maxims from the Exeter Book. I drew heavily from Aaron K. Hostetter's translation of the Maxims, but I've edited together sayings to give a more thematic feel.
